Auction House

Navigating the psychology of the auction process and bidding on behalf of clients is a vital area of Warren's expertise. He has spent years in the Auction world, most recently as the Head of Client Services at Sotheby's New York. With this formal training in the world's oldest continuously run auction house and organizing, attending and bidding in hundreds of auctions, Warren thoroughly understands this complex and often emotional area of the art world.

Winegar Fine Art has offered discrete and personalized service to a diverse group of individuals, museums/institutions and corporations for both acquisitions and sales of fine art and objects over many years. Well developed networks enable him to lead clients to the best possible sources of sought after works.

As the Director of the Hilde Gerst Gallery, Warren established relationships in the gallery world that enable him to search out the best opportunities for his clients. His networks amongst top gallerists span the world's top art markets and art fairs.

Early in his career Warren worked at the Museum of Art at Brigham Young University in a variety of capacities. His time spent there and in subsequent opportunities to work with clients in the museum realm has strengthened his institutional perspective and knowledge of the needs of museum curators and donors.
